Switzerland is campaigning for a seat on the Security Council and aims at distinguishing itself, notably in the digital field, in which it excels. In that context, Switzerland promotes a safe and fair digitalization by ensuring that everyone benefits from technical innovations.
Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis made this point at a ministerial debate on digital cooperation and connectivity at the UN General Assembly on April 27.
